Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PodStreak on web and mobile. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
The service
PodStreak lets you discover, play, and track podcast episodes with gamification features such as XP, daily streaks, achievements, and community leaderboards. Podcast audio and metadata may come from public RSS feeds and third-party catalogs; we do not own the underlying show content.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may not share credentials, automate abusive listening, or attempt to manipulate XP, streaks, or leaderboard rankings.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten service integrity.
XP, streaks, and rewards
- XP and streaks are motivational game mechanics calculated by PodStreak servers from verified listening activity.
- XP and streaks have no cash value unless and until we publish separate redemption rules.
- Reward redemptions are not available yet. See the Rewards page for unlock conditions and locked behavior.
- You may not sell, transfer, or exchange XP, streaks, or account progress outside official PodStreak flows.
- We may adjust XP formulas, streak rules, or achievement thresholds to maintain fairness; we will not retroactively remove legitimately earned history without notice except to correct fraud or errors.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our APIs.
- Submit false telemetry or exploit race conditions for rewards.
- Harass other users or impersonate PodStreak staff.
- Use the service for unlawful purposes.
Third-party content
Episodes, artwork, and show descriptions belong to their respective creators and platforms. PodStreak provides access and playback tools; we are not responsible for third-party content, feed availability, or sponsor offers mentioned in episodes.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Beta features may change or be removed without notice.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account (mobile) or /auth/delete-account (web). We may terminate or restrict access if you breach these Terms.
Disclaimers
PodStreak is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PodStreak and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
